Originally built as a Department of Fisheries patrol vessel, this 10 meter/ 33 foot Cougar Catamaran with twin 250hp SUZUKI outboard motors is suitable for smooth and open water charters.

The vessel has a modern SIMRAD electronic navigation outfit and maintains NSCV survey 2C for use by up to 8 people (2 crew and 6 passengers). This allows the vessel to conduct restricted offshore operations within 30nm from the baseline of the Australian mainland, Tasmania, a recognised island; within 50nm of the baseline of Qld, within the Great Barrier Reef Region or the Torres Strait Zone; whilst remaining within the EEZ (source: www.amsa.gov.au).
The vessel is very safe and reliable; operated by an experienced Master and Engineer, she is fitted with a Zodiac Open Sea 8 Man liferaft, complete suite of communications equipment (including satellite phone), Honda 2kVA silent generator, 4 berths, a small galley, fridge, freezer and toilet. The vessel is capable of supporting some extended trips, however consideration needs to be given to passenger numbers and their desired comfort levels. The vessel is transportable via truck/trailer combination and can be moved to any port for ease and cost effectiveness.
