New build 6.3 mtr Workboat (measured length) 6.5 mtr overall. This is our latest design and feature some modification and updates. We have increased the thickness of the bottom plate to 5mm and have put a small vee in the bottom of the hull. This has been a huge success in reducing the slamming you get from flat bottomed punts.
Firstly, the ride in this vessel is so much better. Furthermore, we have included two steps at the transom.
One either side of the outboard which make access much easier.
Equally important, the Outboard is now protected by a bumper bar. You will notice the front push bar mounted on top of the full length stringers is now standard.
Features a sealed self draining deck with (AMSA compliant) foam under. (Gunwales also have foam under them)
The gunwales are 4mm folded plate and the top of the gunwale is 150mm wide. This provides a new level of stiffness to the vessel and allows for side rails. Now a standard feature. Gunwales custom HDPE fendering system fitted to port and starboard gunwale and bow. This system slides on contact and does not grab and tear like rubber. The Lifting points are now standard. (these are non certified, please let me know if you need certification as there is a cost involved for this). Ask me about the GA for twin outboards with centre console. Will emailed on request.
