This Pugh Seahunter was Professionaly built in Glastone by Thirston Yacht builders in 1984 and was used extensively for diving.
She has 5 water tight bulkheads, including a crash bulkhead, and now has been painstakingly rebuilt over the last 7 years by a very fastidious tradesman. She has been blasted back to bare metal and repainted with the very latest paint system and he has over built to achieve a very high standard of safety, (all glass in the vessel was replaced with tinted high impact glass, oil bath bearings in the stern tubes (like a ship), Stern davit rated at 12 ton just name a couple.) Steering flat has workshop which houses general use compressor (A $35k dive complressor is available at extra cost)
Has all new upholstery and offers 6’6” headroom throughout all levels and the latest fire and suppression system on board complies to AMSA. This vessel also offers heaps of deck space, is fitted with all new clears, has a stainless marlin board with stainless ladder from deck specifically for diving clients.
She was finished and went into survey November 2015 (hull now not due till 2020) Absolutely nothing was left to chance or ignored, every part of this vessel has been refurbished to allow her comfortable and very safe passage in southern oceans and her fully air conditioned and fully insulated hull (4" thick foam), twin motors, twin gensets and bilge keels also make her a first choice for sailing anywhere in the tropics. Fitted with 1,000 litre sullage tanks especially to allow her to go into National Parks Australia wide. She is steel and was cold rolled so no chines, has bilge keels, is twin screw (both engines fully rebuilt - now done just 9 hours), has 2 gensets (one perkins 15 KVA fully rebuilt and one 15 KVA off the main engine), sails are brand new in the bag (Doyles) and she has 5 cabins (all bunks are oversize), 3 full size shower and toilets, 5 x fridges including 2 x 1,000 litre snap freezers (all eutectic) Is equipped with 2 sounders, 2 radars, auto pilot, all bunks are over size, is fully air conditioned throughout, all new jackets (to survey) new $1,200 medical kit. She also has a pen in Freo plus a 60 ton mooring in Mangles Bay,

The vessel has extensive history with some 7 movies being made on her and had many famous people both own and use her. (eg: Ron and Valerie Taylor, Ben Cropp, Rod Harding)
